Interventions
In my classroom I have 1 or 2 designated spaces for students to regulate if they need to. In these spaces are various tools to help them, such as fidgets, timers, books, pillows, etc.

Classroom Expectations and Rules
At the beginning of the year, I set clear expectations for what I expect in my classroom. I also collaborate with my students by creating a “Classroom Contract” that each student signs. As the year progresses, some visuals or expectations are removed and some added depending on the needs of my students.
